Christie Trahin

Christie Trahin, CPA, joined USA Properties Fund as Corporate Controller in 2024, bringing almost two decades of accounting experience and extensive knowledge of the multifamily industry.

Ms. Trahin oversees a range of accounting functions, including preparation of corporate and development project financial statements, audits, tax returns, budgets and cash-flow reports. She works closely with CFO Jonny Harmer and SVP Darren Bobrowsky.

Ms. Trahin is also responsible for managing the construction loan draw process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in draw reporting, and collaborating with financial partners to secure funding for multimillion-dollar projects.

She is passionate about team building and leadership, with a proven ability to recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing accounting teams.  She is skilled at fostering a collaborative, results-driven work environment while implementing robust processes and systems to enhance efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Ms. Trahin has more than a decade of experience in the multifamily industry, including in development investment and management. She also has knowledge of both affordable apartment communities – including the complexities of low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC) – and market-rate properties.

She was most recently the Corporate Controller for Anton DevCo (formerly St. Anton Partners), a multifamily firm based in Sacramento. She was promoted four times in 12 years.

Ms. Trahin earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from California State University, Sacramento.
